The elegance of Dão

The wines from Dão are likely to be the most feminine and elegant of Portuguese Wines, also defined by their highly gastronomic nature. The delicious balance between acidity, alcohol and aroma, combine to produce an elegant glass of wine.

Climate: Mediterranean

Vinification: Destalked and pressed whole grapes, the clear settled juice is fermented at 14ºC.

Alcoholic Strength: 12.5% Alc/Vol

Total Acidity: 5.6 gr/l of tartaric acid pH: 3.30

Color: Greenish color

Aroma: Citric and mineral

Palate: Mineral, crisp, with tropical fruits and tangerine flavor

Tasting Note: Very fresh and pleasant

Serving Suggestions: Serve between 10 and 12ºC. Goes well as a starter, seafood, fish and cold dishes (salads).
